Thomas Anthony Watson is a British former politician who served as Deputy Leader of the Labour Party from 2015 to 2019 and Shadow Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport from 2016 to 2019. Born in Boston on June 14, 1949, she was the daughter of the late James and Patricia (Ryan) Walsh. We met in 1973 when Hugh was on the panel interviewing me for a lecturing job at Hull.
